Our beautiful ewe’s came from Crafts at Bluffton, they include some Hurricane Hill breeding.  We will come with pictures and more information on our ewes ASAP.

All our girls have wonderful fleeces.  My shearer, Ray Sweinefus, says my sheep have the best Jacob fleeces he has ever seen.  AND he does a lot of shearing for hand spinners.  Thanks for the compliment Ray!

Welcome to Eagle Creek Jacobs

  • February 28, 2011 6:16 pm

My husband Keith and I have 35 acres in picturesque Madison county that is an ideal place to raise our Jacob sheep and Arabian horses.  The land is well suited to grazing and the many different species of plant life are ideal to promote the health of our animals.  Jacobs are an accient breed, that is hardy, intellegent, and beautiful, who thrive in our varied lanscape.

Our beautiful ewe’s came from Crafts at Bluffton, they include some Hurricane Hill breeding.  In 2008 we aquired Merlin from Blue Ewe Farm in Kentucky Merlin is a lilac ram with outstanding fleece. At that time we also purchased a lilac ewe who’s fleece won 1st plcae at the Iowa sheep and wool Festival.  In 2009 we bought Smokey, a dark chocolate, lilac ram from Shadow Mountain Jacobs in Washington.  He was Grand Champion ram at the Washington State Fair.  Make sure and see OUR SHEEP page for pictures, pedigrees and fleece information. I process and spin the wool myself and I understand the intricacies of fine wool production.  Our animals are choosen for their fiber and are handled with the utmost care and attention to produce the highest quality wool available.
